Terms and conditions
The terms for using this website, including how to read the information, prices and offers on it.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website. Please read them before using the site. By using it, you accept them. They do not cover your dental treatment, which is explained below.
Who we are
This website belongs to Hoburne Dental Practice, a private dental practice at 104 Saffron Drive, Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4TG. The practice is run by Mr Peter James Willy, who is registered with the Care Quality Commission as the provider of dental services at the practice. You can contact us by phone on 01425 277 245, by post at the address above, or at reception.
Information, not advice
The information on this website is general. It explains our treatments and services, but it is not a diagnosis or clinical advice for you personally. Every patient is different, and only an examination by a dentist can tell you which treatment is suitable and what the risks and benefits are for you.
If you have dental pain, swelling or an injury, please phone us on 01425 277 245. Out of hours, the answerphone message gives the number of the local on-call service. In a medical emergency, such as swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent medical advice you can also call NHS 111.
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but information can change. If something matters to your decision, please check it with us.
Prices
Prices on this website are a guide. They are correct at the time they were published, but they may change, and the cost of your treatment depends on what you need. Before any treatment starts, your dentist will give you a written treatment plan with the cost. The price in your treatment plan is the one that applies.
Offers
Offers shown on this website are available for a limited time and while appointments are available. Each offer may have its own conditions, such as being for new patients only, and these are set out with the offer or explained when you book. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash. If you are not sure whether an offer applies to you, please ask us before booking. We may change or end an offer, but we will honour an offer you booked before the change.
Your treatment, appointments and fees
Your dental care is provided under separate terms, which we explain before treatment: in your written treatment plan, on our fees page and in our new patient information. If you join the Hoburne Dental Plan, the plan has its own terms, which you receive when you join. If you choose to spread the cost of treatment with a finance provider, the finance agreement is between you and that provider.
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment. With less than 24 hours' notice, and if the space cannot be filled, a missed-appointment fee of up to 50% of the appointment fee may be charged.
Using this website
You may use this website for your own information. Please do not:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that could damage it or affect other people's use of it;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it;
- send us anything through our forms that is offensive, unlawful or contains viruses or harmful code.
When you send us an enquiry or a referral, please make sure the information is accurate. Please do not send another person's details unless you have their permission or are entitled to share them, for example as a referring dentist.
We aim to keep the website available, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free from errors. We may change or update it, or take it offline for maintenance.

Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Because the website is provided free of charge for general information, we are not responsible for loss or damage caused by relying on information on it instead of seeking advice from a dentist, or by the website being unavailable. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by a virus or other harmful material that reaches your device through the website, if we have taken reasonable care to prevent it.
Your personal information
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information, and our cookie policy explains the cookies used on this website.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies.
